Wanderlei Silva is scheduled to return to the octagon at UFC Japan against American Brian Stann. However, the former Pride champion, as expected, gave his opinion on the duel between Vitor belfort e Michael Bisping, main attraction of UFC Sao Paulo.
The “Crazy Dog”, who has already faced both fighters, bet on a balanced fight, with favoritism for the Brazilian side at the beginning of the fight. In 1998, Wand was defeated by Vitor in the first UFC Brazil, and beat the Englishman at UFC 110, held in Australia, in 2010.
“Belfort is very dangerous at the beginning of the fight, I think he has a great chance of getting knocked out in the first two rounds, but if this fight reaches the third the situation will change completely. Bisping has a lot of energy and it grows during the fight. Belfort’s chance to finish early”, said Wand, who was a coach in the first edition of TUF Brasil alongside the “Fenômeno”.
The fight between Vitor belfort e Michael Bisping will be the main attraction of UFC Sao Paulo, an event that takes place next Saturday (19), at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium. Check out the full event card below:
