During the program ufc tonight last night (15), shown on the North American channel Fuel tv, the complete list of fighters migrating from Strikeforce to Strikeforce was announced Ultimate Fighting Championship. Among those listed are the already confirmed champions of the – now extinct – organization and three Brazilians: lightweight Adriano Martins and middleweight Roger gracie e Ronaldo Jacare.
The category that will provide the most athletes to the UFC will be lightweight, with seven entrants. On the other hand, only a heavyweight, Daniel Cormier, he is certain to reach Ultimate. Cormier, in fact, already has a fight scheduled against Frank mir for UFC on FOX 7, in a rescheduling of a fight that would take place at Strikeforce itself.
Some Ultimate veterans are also in the relationship, such as Nate Marquardt. Before moving to Strikeforce, the North American had already had 14 fights for the UFC, with ten wins and four losses – one of them in the middleweight title fight against the Brazilian Anderson Silva. Another veteran returning to the Las Vegas organization is Josh thomson, who had three fights at the event between 2003 and 2004.
