Considered by many to be the best heavyweight in MMA history, Fedor Emelianenko received medical discharge after passing almost a week hospitalized, with Covid-19. According to the ‘RT Sports’, the legend left the ‘Clinical Hospital 52’, located in Moscow, Russia, and has recovered from the disease.

The news that Fedor was under observation after testing positive for coronavirus worried the veteran's fans around the world. The commotion was such that the athlete – known for saving words and interviews – released a text to reassure his followers.
“Thank you to everyone who is concerned about my health. I have the impression that I am improving. Thank you to the doctors and the team for their care and hard work”, wrote the athlete on his Instagram account a week ago.
A professional in MMA since 2000, Emelianenko was one of those largely responsible for the spread of mixed martial arts around the world.
