“Coming off a good win, I hope to fight someone in the top 5 (next). Afterwards, I can do a fight at 125 pounds (flyweight) too. Then I want, God willing, to fight for the belt. As Carla (Esparza), who I would face, was already one of the names to fight for the belt, I don't think it's a crazy dream to ask to fight (for the title) until the end of the year, no. Of course, it all depends on how the next fights go, but do you know when everything looks really good? I look at it that way,” said the Brazilian.

To get closer to the title fight, which today belongs to Weili Zhang, the athlete will need to overcome a tough opponent. Without disdaining her compatriot, who is currently in eighth place in the group, Amanda analyzed her rival and expects a great show on the card starring Conor McGregor.

“She (Marina) is well ranked, that’s very good for me. Fighting with a ranked athlete, a very tough athlete, she has a 'sharp' Muay Thai, elbows come in all the time, kicks come in all the time. So, I have to be very well prepared for this, and I am, because I'm training a lot. I was happy that my fight with her went well, because there comes a time when there is nowhere to run, you have to get the best to be the best”, he concluded.
