Chimaev's achievements led to the athlete being chosen to face one of the biggest names in recent welterweight history. In March, the prodigy will have the chance to exchange forces against the current number three in the group led by Kamaru Usman. If he makes history and overcomes the Englishman in his next match, Chimaev will be close to having a fight for the organization's belt.

Although he is a respected name in the current category, Leon went through moments of tension last season. Without fighting for over a year, the athlete had his place in the rankings threatened due to inactivity.
