Defeated by Michael Pereira in the show that ended the 2020 Ultimate season, Khaos Williams  still finds it difficult to digest the setback for points in the UFC Las Vegas 17, held on the 19th. In an interview with 'MMA fighting', the athlete, who suffered the first negative result with the organization's gloves, analyzed the confrontation and criticized the judges' decision.

“I won because I brought the aggression. I wasn't as aggressive as I normally am, because I was finding myself and he was moving around a lot. This is a fight and everyone has the chance of being hit in a fight, but I controlled the center of the cage and won every exchange of blows. Every time he hit me once, I probably hit him three times.”

During the week of the clash with Michel, Khaos had already stated that it would be difficult to predict the outcome of the dispute, as the Brazilian has a unique style of conducting his duels. Evaluating the way in which the 'Paraense Voador' presented himself in the dispute, the North American then understood that he was more forceful than Pereira who, according to him, just 'danced'.

“You can be the aggressor and win the fight for 4:30 of the round, but for the judges, they are only looking at the last 30 seconds. I think this: everyone has the right to give their opinion, if you ask 100 people, 70% will say that I won. The other 20 or 30% are on his side, because they are fans. If you've been there and you're a fighter, you know I won the fight. You can’t win a fight like that, he danced more than he hurt me”, he concluded.

The clash against Khaos marked the biggest challenge of Michel's UFC career to date. After the victory, the man from Pará confirmed his good form and reached his second consecutive triumph, and third with the Ultimate gloves, in five engagements.
