Dana White says he's working to book Covington x Masvidal in 2021: 'We want that fight too'

Dana White is willing to make the fight between Colby covington e Jorge masvidal happen in 2021. “I don’t think Masvidal said he doesn’t want to fight him (Covington). We are working on this fight. We want it too and, hopefully, we will achieve it this year”, revealed Dana White.

In December 2020, Colby covington accused Jorge masvidal to 'hide' and stated that he had already verbally agreed to the fight.

“I'm ready to fight. I gave them my verbal agreement and I am a man of my word. I'm going to show up and do what I do best, which is win and fight hard and put on a show for the fans around the world. (…), he knows how this fight will unfold and he doesn’t want to embarrass himself to the world,” said Covington, in an interview with 'Submission Radio'.

At 32, Colby covington has a record of 16 wins and two losses. Currently, he is triumphing against the former champion Tyron woodley, UFC Las Vegas 11, in September 2020.
