Covington bets on McGregor in rematch with Poirier: 'He'll knock him out in the first round'

Former interim champion of the welterweight division says the main fight of UFC 257 will not be competitive and bets on the Irishman winning

Conor McGregor e Dustin poirier measure forces in the main fight UFC 257, January 23, in Abu Dhabi. The fight could define the future of the lightweight division (up to 70.3 kg), however, in the opinion of the former interim welterweight champion, Colby covington, the fight will have a quick outcome: with the Irishman winning in the first round.

“All I have to say is prepare yourselves for the crying of Dustin poirier to the world. He will make everyone feel bad for him, as he will be provoked and knocked out in the first round. It won't be competitive”, says Covington, in an interview with 'Submission Radio'.
