In the Ultimate ranking update, released this Tuesday (22), José Aldo took the elevator and went up to the rooster category (up to 61,2 kg). Manauara defeated Marlon Vera on the main card of UFC Las Vegas 17 this Saturday (19) and jumped from seventh to sixth place.

The former featherweight champion (up to 65,8 kg) had lost his first two fights in the bantamweight division, but recovered and achieved his first victory in the division. Aldo is now behind Rob font, Frankie Edgar, cody garbrandt, Cory Sandhagen e aljamain sterling. The category champion is the Russian Petr yan.
In the same division, Marlon dropped four positions and fell from third to seventh place, after being knocked out by Rob font. The North American rose six places and jumped from 11th to 5th.
Other Changes
Taila Santos appeared for the first time in the top-15 of the women's flyweight division (up to 56,7 kg) after winning Gillian robertson in a unanimous decision last Saturday (19). Now, she has reached 13th place in the category.
The Brazilian junior gypsy, who fought in UFC 256, reached his worst streak in his career of four consecutive defeats after a knockout suffered against Cyryl Gane. In the rankings, the former heavyweight champion (up to 120,2 kg) fell one position and now occupies 11th place.
