Known for the frequency within the octagon, Alex Cowboy is close to having its first commitment of 2021 made official. The fighter negotiates a confrontation against Randy Brown for the event confirmed for February 27th, with no defined location. The information was released by 'Combate'.

The Brazilian, who achieved two positive results in a row in the 2020 season, ended up slipping and losing in his last match, in October. At the time, Cowboy was surpassed by Shavkat Rakhmonov, in a clash that he accepted at the last minute.
Just like Alex, Randy Brown seeks to rehabilitate himself within the organization. In his last fight, in August, the fighter was severely beaten by Vincent Luque. The setback for the Brazilian prevented the North American from registering his third positive result in a row.
The clash between Cowboy and Brown will be held at welterweight. The fighters continue to dream of a place in the top 15 of the category, which, today, is led by Kamaru Usman.
At 32 years old, Alex is making his 35th appearance as a professional in MMA. The Brazilian has 22 wins, nine defeats, one draw and two matches without results. Randy, 30, has 12 triumphs and four setbacks in 16 commitments in the sport.
