If he beats Minotauro, Werdum will be the next challenger for the heavyweight belt

UFC president, Dana White, revealed that the gaucho Fabricio Werdum is one victory away from the longed-for chance to compete for the title.

Werdum, who will be one of the coaches of TUF Brasil 2, the UFC reality show, faces Rodrigo Minotauro, another program commander, at the end of the dispute. If he wins the duel between the coaches, scheduled for June 8, the athlete from Rio Grande do Sul guarantees his chance for the belt.

At 35, Fabricio Werdum has an MMA record of 16 wins and five losses. The jiu-jitsu specialist, who was cut from the UFC after being knocked out by junior gypsy at UFC 90, he accumulated two victories since his return to the organization.
