One of the biggest names in recent MMA history, Yoel romero is feeling in your skin something recently experienced by Anderson Silva. Free from his contract with the UFC, the 43-year-old veteran, like the Brazilian, ended up rejected by Bellator and PFL, who, through their representatives, admitted to the 'ESPN', who have no interest in negotiating with the Cuban.

Romero headed a list of layoffs that will take place in Ultimate throughout the month of December. In an interview given after the UFC Las Vegas 16, the president of the organization justified Romero's dismissal based on the recent retrospective of the former challenger for the middleweight belt (up to 83,9kg.).
Finally, White, who also recently released Anderson Silva of his contract, after an amicable termination, stated that around 60 athletes will be cut by the end of 2020.
In his recent career in Ultimate, Yoel ended up defeated in four of his last five fights. His last commitment with the company's gloves came in March, when he was beaten by Israel adesanya in a controversial fight, valid for the division belt. At the time, the Cubans were harshly criticized for the lack of combativeness imposed on the champion.
