After making his return to MMA official, Anthony Johnson continues his preparation to return to the Octagon. Without choosing an opponent, the former light heavyweight title challenger (up to 93kg) is willing to face any challenge. Known for his imposing physical shape, the athlete wants to prove that he still has the ability to perform against the company's new names and was open to a super fight against the giant Francis Ngannou.

“(I face) anyone. I won't challenge anyone. I want to bury everyone,” said Johnson, in a video posted on his Instagram account.

When he started giving hints that he could return to Ultimate – where he hasn't performed since 2017 -, Anthony suggested that he would be seen performing at heavyweight (up to 120,2kg). The plan, however, did not go ahead and the athlete will continue in the up to 93kg category. The fighter, however, does not rule out a commitment against a specific opponent in one of the most dangerous groups in the organization, Francis Ngannou, who recently admitted that he wanted to face 'Rumble'.

“It would be a great fight and an honor to face Rumble Johnson,” Ngannou said on 'Morning Kombat'.

A few months ago, Anthony's name was again included in the list of athletes who are tested by USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency). After the action, the athlete must wait six months to be considered fit for competition.
