One of the protagonists of UFC Las Vegas 15, which takes place this Saturday (28), Derrick Lewis he could be excited for his fight at the weekend, but that's not exactly the case. The heavyweight giant (up to 120,2kg) will face Curtis blaydes in a confrontation that could put the winner very close to a title fight. “I really don’t care who fights for the belt. I don't care if (Jon) Jones jumps the line and fights for the title. What matters (for the UFC) is views and popularity. Whoever sells the most tickets is who I believe will receive the title-shot (fight for the belt)”, said Lewis, in an interview with 'Combate'.

Currently in fourth place in the group led by Stipe Miocic, Derrrick, this Saturday, will have the opportunity to jump to second place, if he overcomes Blaydes in the main fight. The athlete then evaluated the confrontation against his compatriot, who recently belittled Lewis' talent, stating that his rival 'only had one hit'.

“It's great that he thinks like that, because I'm a black belt in jiu-jitsu and I don't tell people that. I let them think I’m just a blue belt,” he said, before suggesting how he imagines the confrontation unfolding.

“I would like to show off my wrestling skills and my jiu-jitsu blue belt. If it's up to me, I'll win by tying him up for five rounds. I will win on points”, concluded the combatant.
