After a poor performance at UFC 255, Dana White sends a message to Maurício Shogun: 'I would like him to retire'

The poor performance of Mauritius Shogun No. UFC 255, held this Saturday (21), in Las Vegas (USA), was not well received by the company's president, Dana White. After seeing the former light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg) being completely dominated by Paul Craig and losing by knockout, the 'boss' was categorical in evaluating the Brazilian's performance.

“I hope tonight was your last fight. I would like him to retire”, said the president.

Living legend of MMA, Shogun, 38 years old, stepped into the octagon this weekend for a reckoning against Craig. In November last year, the combatants faced each other in UFC Sao Paulo and ended up drawing in a close match.

A year later, the balance was no longer seen. Annulled by the Scotsman, the former category champion could not resist his opponent's physical strength and ended up succumbing with a knockout in the second round.
