The Brazilian Rousimar Toquinho returns to the octagon next Friday (14) to seek rehabilitation within Ultimate. The miner faces the toughest Hector Lombard at UFC on FX 6, however, the Brazilian athlete will have to deal with a blow before the fight even starts. When disembarking in Australia, a 12-hour time zone, Toquinho had his luggage lost.
“I arrived here in Australia, in this crazy time zone…. And even more so, I found out that they lost my suitcase, where my training belongings are, my supplements, all my stops are inside…”, said Toquinho in a video posted on YouTube.
Despite the unforeseen situation, Rousimar guarantees his focus is only on the duel. For him, his goal is to face Lombard and leave the Octagon with victory.
“It’s not a suitcase that will make me lose my desire to achieve things, no. When you do what you love, it doesn't matter what you'll miss, as long as you enjoy the moment you truly love and came here to do. Lost suitcase, these things that I'm going to lose, it's no problem, as long as I enjoy my moment in the fight and come out victorious”, said the fighter.
