After Gaethje was defeated by Khabib, Rashad Evans praises McGregor: 'He can beat him'

It's no secret that Conor McGregor has a legion of fans and the newest member of this team is Rashad evans. After watching the impressive victory of Khabib Nurmagomedov about Justin gaethje, UFC 254, the former champion and current commentator for the organization agreed with the Russian's coach, who considers the Irish star the most difficult opponent for the number one lightweight (70,3kg).

In interview with the program Morning Kombat, Rashad compared McGregor and Gaethje's performances against Khabib, praised the Irishman for giving the Russian a real fight and believes he is one of the few capable of threatening his rival's reign.

Even if you get up, you no longer fight in the same way. This showed that McGregor is one of the best lightweights and also one of the few who can beat Khabib,” said Rashad.
