Luke Rockhold suffers wrist injury and is another casualty on the Strikeforce card

The fight program for the next edition of Strikeforce has suffered a new low. The card, which takes place on January 12th and should mark the end of the event's operations, lost the champion Luke Rockhold who will not defend his middleweight belt against Lorenz Larkin. He suffered a wrist injury.

Before Rockhold, another champion had already been injured and left the show. Lightweight Gilbert Melendez was also injured and will not put his title on the line against Pat Healy.

Now, the show's fight program is left with just one champion. The owner of the welterweight belt, Nate Marquardt, will face Tarec saffiedine. Already the winner of the heavyweight GP, Daniel Cormier, will face off against Dion Staring.
