“It’s one of the biggest fights. Anderson is a legend. I'm really excited to face the guy I watched when I was a kid. For me, it's everything. That’s how I look at it,” Hall said.

Faced with one of the biggest challenges of his career, Uriah knows that, although he is not facing the Brazilian at his peak, his task will not be easy. To win, the North American will have to decipher the unique style of the athlete, who made history in MMA.

“He is fluid. The way he moves, the way he fights, he's in the moment and a lot of people don't understand the dynamics. That's why he says he doesn't care about the fight itself. It's not about fighting. People can't understand the concept, because it's the moment you are there (in the octagon) and let things happen,” he said.

Current number 10 in the category's ranking, for Hall it doesn't matter if Anderson, today, doesn't even appear in the top 15 of the group led by Israel adesanya. The athlete celebrates the chance to share the fighting space against one of the biggest names to have ever performed in mixed martial arts.

“For me, Anderson is a guy I’ve had as an idol for years. It's a title. A championship fight, in my mind. I feel like I got there,” he concluded.
