“I never thought about rematches in my career. For me, when I lose, I lose. I'm going to the next one. When I win, I win and we go to the next one”, said Anderson, in an interview with 'ESPN'.
The Brazilian, however, did not hide the fact that, had it been in his hands, he would have re-edited a landmark confrontation in his career.
“Of course I have a fight (rematch) in my head that I never did, against Michael Bisping. This rematch would be special, but of course it never happened”, said the athlete.
Anderson faced Michael in February 2016. In the duel, the Brazilian came close to defeating the Englishman by knockout, but Bisping ended up saved by the bell. After five rounds, 'Spider' ended up defeated by unanimous decision from the judges.
Still on the subject of 'rematch', Silva took the opportunity to mention another clash that he considers interesting, if it had been re-edited.
"Like Nick Diaz also, because the fight was a 'no contest' (without result), and the statistic remains in my career: a fight without result”, he explained.
Against Diaz, in 2015, the duel represented a lot in the Brazilian's career. The confrontation against the 'bad-boy' marked the return of the legend after the serious fracture in his leg, in the confrontation against Chris WeidmanIn 2013.
This Saturday (31), Anderson will step into the Octagon in what could be his last appearance for Ultimate. The athlete will face Uriah Hall in the main fight of UFC Las Vegas 12.
