On Saturday (17), wrestling athlete Luís Angel Salazar, better known as 'Air Prince', was performing at an event held in Nezahualcóyotl, a town near Mexico City, when he suffered a heart attack in the ring, much to his despair. from his co-workers and fans.

According to the newspaper El País, the fighter was taken to the hospital alive. However, shortly afterwards, the 26-year-old suffered another cardiac arrest and did not survive.

In the video published on social media, 'Príncipe Aéreo' acted and staged the blows, normally, with his opponent. However, after receiving two slaps to the chest and a kick, the fighter fell, already unconscious. Upon noticing the movement different from usual, the opponent and the referee went to assess the situation and immediately provided assistance. Desperate and screaming, the two were joined by a new athlete, members of the fans and the medical team. The recording also shows Salazar's opponent in dismay, already fearing that something worse could happen.

The tragic event led fans, fighters and members of the press to pay their respects and farewell messages to the 'Air Prince' over the internet.
