Justin Gaethje questions Khabib Nurmagomedov's durability: 'He doesn't like getting hit'

Justin gaethje is a man on a mission and doesn't care about the fact that he's the underdog against Khabib Nurmagomedov, UFC 254. On the contrary, for the event that will be held this Saturday (24), in Abu Dhabi, the interim lightweight champion (70,3kg) and challenger for the linear belt promised to take the number one in the category to his limit.

In an interview with the North American website Morning Kombat, Gaethje recalled that his violent style represents everything that Khabib does not like, nor has he encountered in his duels, he is sure that the Russian does not like being hit and is curious to know how he will deal with it.

“I create harm! If I don't get it right, I still hurt and cut my opponent. In a 25-minute fight, I'm going to do damage to Khabib, one way or another. Ferguson loves it, but Khabib certainly doesn't. His priority is not to be harmed in order to have a quality life and that is admirable, but when I get it right, where does his mind go when his intention is to not get hurt? I don’t know and so I’m excited to see his reaction,” Gaethje said.

'The Louisiana Kid' revealed which points of his opponent he intends to attack and, even though he knows the importance of the fight and that he has to take the initiative, he informed that he will not do anything crazy and rush into it.

“I don’t think Khabib has ever been hit so many times in the legs or the body. Nobody was able to do this. This fight is great, but I have to concentrate and keep my feet on the ground. I can't go all out at the start, because there is something at stake and it will be 25 minutes. I will have to be perfect in that time and I am preparing myself for that.”
