The fight between the Brazilian Glover Teixeira e Quinton Rampage Jackson There is a new date to take place. After being canceled at UFC Rio 3 due to an injury to the North American athlete, the light heavyweights will face each other in early 2013. Through his Twitter account, Rampage revealed that the duel will be held at UFC on FOX 6, an event that will take place on January 26th, in Chicago, in the United States.
“Outside the Octagon I don’t hate anyone. Life is too short for that. Inside the octagon my job is to destroy. Glover was already on January 26th, in Chicago”, he wrote Rampage on the microblog.
the duel between Rampage and Glover would be the second most important fight at UFC Rio 3, on October 13th, and could put the Brazilian close to a title shot, if he wins. But as the American suffered an injury, he was replaced by Fabio Maldonado, which was dominated by Glover, who won by technical knockout – medical interruption – at the end of the second round.
