Ultimate is close to making official a fight that promises strong emotions. The company negotiates the fight between Ronaldo Jacare e Marvin vettori protocols for UFC 256, which takes place on December 12th, in Las Vegas, USA. The information was disclosed by one of the Italian's coaches, Emanuele Lochner, to the North American program The Scramble MMA Show.

If it becomes official, Jacaré, 40 years old, will make his debut at middleweight (83,9kg), as he decided to test himself at light heavyweight (93kg) in November 2019. The Brazilian arrives under pressure for the clash, as he lost two fights in a row and three of the last four. The only victory during this period was against Chris WeidmanIn 2018.
On the other hand, Vettori, 27 years old, is going through a great phase in the organization. The Italian won his last three fights, the most recent of which took place in June 2020. 'The Italian Dream' was also known for being one of the few who gave a balanced fight to Israel adesanya, middleweight champion, and for having accused several athletes in the category, including Jacaré himself, of refusing to face him.
O UFC 256 will be starred by the champion Amanda nunes, who will put the featherweight belt (65,8kg) at stake, against Megan anderson. The card will also feature a duel between Mackenzie dern e Virna jandiroba, by flyweight (56,7kg), and with the presence of Amanda ribas, who still doesn't know who he will act against.
