The Brazilian junior gypsy will put the heavyweight belt on the line against Cain Velazquez at UFC 155, an event that takes place on December 29th, in Las Vegas, in the United States. The duel marks a rematch between the athletes as the Brazilian knocked out the North American at UFC on FOX, held in December 2011.
Cigano, in fact, hopes to repeat the way he won the first duel, knocking out Velasquez, however, this time a little longer.
“It won't be as fast as it was the first time, but I'll knock him out again. It will be in the second round, I like to knock out in the second round”, commented Cigano in an interview with ESPN, remembering his 64-second victory over Velasquez last year.
In his last fight at UFC 146, held in May, Júnior made exactly the same prediction, when he stated that he would knock out Franki Mir in the second round. In the confrontation, the Brazilian fulfilled his promise by achieving a knockout after a series of punches on the American.
