Alex Cowboy challenges Khamzat Chimaev: 'I want the fight that nobody wants'

Known for never turning down a fight, Alex Cowboy has his eye on the new UFC sensation. The athlete defied the organization's promise, Khamzat Shimaev for a confrontation in the near future. Coming off two consecutive victories, the Brazilian believes he can end the hype over the Swede.

“I will accept the fight that no one else wants. Chimaev, I'm ready for a welterweight fight right now. I see you choosing opponents. I'm here, said the Brazilian, in an interview with 'MMA Junkie'.

Khamzat achieved worldwide fame in MMA after three great performances with Ultimate gloves. Undefeated in his career, the athlete has stood out for his aggressiveness, versatility and desire to always compete.

The Swede's debut took place on July 15th. In September, the fighter had already performed three times.

Cowboy is also at peace with winning. After going through a turbulent moment in his career, suffering three setbacks in a row, the fighter from Três Rios (RJ) recovered and achieved two positive results in 2020. His last performance took place in July.
