the performance of Israel adesanya against Paulo borrachinha, UFC 253, and the end of the fight continues to resonate in the MMA community. Darren till, who had already congratulated the middleweight champion (83,9kg) on his Twitter, once again expressed his delight with what he saw and elaborated further on his thoughts.

To the North American website MMA Junkie, the Englishman, who is coming off a defeat, revealed that the Nigerian's achievement motivates him to turn things around and believes that, as he is young, he will continue to evolve and will be able to displace the number one in the category in the future. “I can’t diminish Adesanya’s performance. It was perfect, impeccable! Even though we are rivals, it is something that inspires me. Being able to admit this shows my level of maturity. Adesanya and I will fight, whether in the octagon or on the street. I think it makes more sense to be in the Octagon. I will also face Whittaker again and finish him in the first round. I have 27 years old. I know I have time and what I need to do to be successful. When the time comes, I will beat Adesanya,” Till said.

Till also gave his opinion on the rivalry and trash talk between Adesanya and Borrachinha and explained that this will never happen to him, because he knows how to separate the professional from the personal side and doesn't care about this type of tactic.

“I will never hate him or another fighter for being successful. I may be like that in the fight, but as a person, if you hate someone, you have serious problems. I'm smart enough to separate things and not take it personally. I'm not that sensitive. I can make jokes about myself and even my family. This doesn’t affect me, but I understand those who see it as disrespect”, he concluded.

At age 27, the rise of Darren till, in the UFC, was meteoric. The Englishman arrived at the organization in 2015, won four consecutive fights and, undefeated, fought for the welterweight (77,6kg) belt in 2018, when he was defeated by Tyron woodley. In the middleweight division (83,9kg), Till surpassed Kelvin Gastelum and he just didn't become the category's challenger, because he was defeated by the former champion, Robert whittaker, in July 2020.
