It has been almost 10 days since the victory of Israel adesanya about Paulo borrachinha, UFC 253, but the meeting between athletes remains relevant in the world of MMA. Recently, the middleweight champion published an alleged conversation with the Brazilian on a social network, in which the Nigerian apparently tries to calm the public fight between them, which did not end after the duel.

“I hope your leg is okay. Next time, try to be more respectful and I will respect you back. You were an idiot and now I need to discount it to make sense. Thanks for the fight. Keep working and maybe in some fights you will get another chance if you do well”, the champion reportedly wrote.

Adesanya's supposed attempt to promote peace is due to the fact that, since dominating the Brazilian and retaining the middleweight title (up to 83,9kg), the Nigerian began to provoke the Minas Gerais player in an aggressive way. Israel believes that the rival has crossed the line on certain occasions and, therefore, a 'virtual reckoning' would be necessary.

In the publication, the champion explained the reason for trying to settle with Borrachinha. However, it seems that the story between them is far from having an end.

PUBLICITY:

“Paulo, you still haven't accepted the fact that you were run over by the skinny guy you were teasing. Now, I'm the provocateur, but at least I'm nice. Your fragile ego doesn't understand that the 'skinny clown' was able to defeat you with ease. Stay humble and learn from it, so you can grow as a person,” the Nigerian wrote.

Finally, Israel tried to send an ultimatum to the Brazilian, who has already returned to training and states that he will return to perform as soon as possible. For the Minas Gerais native, the rematch is a matter of honor, given the provocations that occurred after the clash.

“Train as much as you want. You will never defeat me. I own your head, because you will be obsessed with me forever, like my ex (girlfriend). Say what you want about me. It doesn’t matter, you will continue to be crushed,” she concluded.

While the champion continues to celebrate his success, Paulo, now in Brazil, continues to train hard. The fighter states that he intends to return to the Octagon between December and January. The opponent, however, has not yet been defined.
