Anderson Silva never hid his desire to face the Canadian Georges St Pierre, owner of the welterweight belt, in a duel of UFC champions. However, in an event held last Thursday (18), Spider stated that it could face Jon Jones, champion of the organization's light heavyweight division, to please the fans (remember here).
After Dana White, president of the UFC, guaranteed that he would be able to schedule the fight between Anderson Silva e Jon Jones offering a million-dollar scholarship to the athletes, Ed Soares, one of Anderson's managers, also stated that the fight can be negotiated, without any obstacles.

In an interview with the program 'MMA Hour', from AOL, in the United States, Soares stated that he sees no obstacles to negotiating the clash between the champions.
“I think if it has to happen, it will happen. We will cross that bridge when it comes”, stated Ed, who, on the other hand, revealed that Anderson's main objective is to face GSP.
“We haven’t really talked about it much. The focus of Anderson Silva now it’s at Georges St.Pierre”, he added.
