Tim Sylvia analyzes the fight against Fedor at Affliction

On the eve of Affliction's debut, next Saturday, July 19th, former UFC champion Tim Sylvia commented on his fight, the main one of the show, against Russian fighter Fedor Emilianeko.

For the American, Fedor will not experience difficulties as the fight will be fought under the unified rules imposed by the Athletic Commission, however, Sylvia believes that he will have an advantage because he has faced high-level opponents in the last three years, while the Russian fought little and with insignificant competitors.

“I don’t know if this (unified rules) will affect him. He is a professional and can adapt”, said Tim “The only thing I think can affect is the level of fighters he has faced in the last three years. I have fought against top-level opponents, and he didn’t have strong competition.”

“Fedor has already commented that in the past he has fought similar guys to me, but if he is thinking these two fights (Schilt and Choi) will be the type of guy he is going to face, then he is in for a long night.” , he completed.
