Fight between Thiago Marreta and Glover Teixeira is rescheduled for November 7th, says website

After both athletes were diagnosed with Covid-19, UFC chose to keep the fight on a third date

Good news for MMA fans. The duel between Thiago Marreta e Glover Teixeira will, in fact, happen. After being made official on two different occasions, but not happening due to the fact that both fighters tested positive for Covid-19 - at different times -, the UFC decided to maintain the confrontation and reschedule it as the main fight for the November 7th card. , with no defined location. The information was released by 'ESPN'.

Initially, the fight between the Brazilians would take place on September 12th. The confrontation generated a lot of repercussion among Brazilian fans, as they are two athletes who enjoy a lot of prestige among the public. The fight, however, ended up being postponed after Glover tests positive for Covid-19.

With Teixeira banned from performing for security reasons, Ultimate chose to postpone the duel until October 3, on 'Ilha da Luta'. This time, however, it was Muppet who contracted the coronavirus and was removed from the event.

Glover remained on the card and the company was looking for a new rival. Now, however, the UFC has decided to keep the Brazilians on the front line and has chosen November 7th as the new date.
