Brazilian Hacran Dias debuted in Ultimate in style in January, when he surprised the favorite Yuri Marajó at UFC Rio 2. The triumph put the Nova União athlete in a great position at the event, so much so that he will return to the octagon in front of a quarry. Hacran faces the North American Chad Mendes at UFC on FX 6, an event that takes place on December 14, in Broadbeach, Australia.
Interestingly, Chad, who has a record of 12 wins and one loss, also performed at UFC Rio 2. The North American took part in the main fight of the event against José Aldo, Hacran's teammate, in the featherweight title fight. On that occasion, he was knocked out with a beautiful flying knee at the end of the first round.
In turn, Hacran, who has a professional record of 21 wins, one draw and one defeat, will make his second appearance in Ultimate and is looking to score his tenth consecutive victory in his career.
In addition to Hacran Dias, UFC on FUEL 6 will feature two other Brazilians on the card. Ednaldo Lula faces Canadian Krzysztof Soszynski, and Rousimar Toquinho will face the Cuban Hector Lombard.
