The defeat suffered by Michelle Waterson in the main fight of UFC Las Vegas 10, held this Saturday (12), was not well received by Angela Hill. After losing in a split decision by the judges, the athlete revealed that she thought about hanging up her gloves as soon as the match ended, but ended up changing her mind after talking to Dana White.

“It's really difficult. As soon as they announced her name (Waterson), I immediately thought, 'I give up.' I don't think about it anymore. Dana made me change my mind (laughs). It's very disappointing. I know I can do more. I know there are ways I can change my game. I need to change some things. It's another difficult lesson. Two in a row. I think it’s already good”, said the fighter at the press conference after the show.
Hill's complaint goes back to her last fight, in May, when she was defeated by the Brazilian Claudia Gadelha. On that occasion, Angela lost again in a split decision by the judges and the result was contested by a portion of the fans.
After the new negative result, Hill now has two defeats in a row. The North American currently ranks 13th in the group led by Weili Zhang.
While Angela suffered two consecutive defeats, Waterson followed the opposite path. The athlete ended a negative sequence of two setbacks and is now resuming her path towards the top 5 in the division.
