It's not new anymore, but Conor McGregor did it once again. The Irishman, who on Friday (11), complained about a surprise drug test, was arrested on his yacht on Corsica Island, France. The former UFC champion was accused of attempted exposure and sexual assault. Information about the arrest was released by 'AFP Sport'.

According to the report, McGregor was taken to the police station, gave a statement, was booked and subsequently released. The fighter's defense denies all accusations.

Also according to the note, the prosecutor in the case told how the former champion's arrest process went. “Following a complaint filed on September 10 alleging acts that could be described as attempted sexual assault and sexual exhibition, Mr. Conor Anthony McGregor was taken to a hearing by the police,” he highlighted.

McGregor would participate in a charity water bike race to help promote awareness of the importance of water. But, due to his arrest, he ended up giving up his participation.

History of problems with the law

This is not the first time that Conor McGregor is arrested. The fighter was arrested for the first time in 2019, in New York City (USA). In this ocasion, he, with several partners, attacked a UFC bus to fight with the rival Khabib Nurmagomedov.

In 2019, the Irish punched an elderly man inside a pub. The attack occurred over an argument over his brand of whiskey, Proper Twelve.

Still in 2019, in the city of Miami, Conor was arrested for breaking a fan's cell phone who filmed it near his hotel. He posted bail and was released.

In addition to all the prisons, the name of Conor McGregor a rape investigation in Ireland was cited, but the prosecution did not advance.
