Neiman Gracie saved the Tupiniquim homeland this weekend. The black belt was the only Brazilian to win at major MMA events this weekend. In action at Bellator 246, the representative of the traditional jiu-jitsu family took no notice of veteran Jon Fitch with a beautiful ankle lock.
With the victory, which came in the second round, Neiman wins again after losing for the first time in MMA – against the former champion Rory McDonald – and is running as a challenger to the fellow Brazilian Douglas lima.
