Couldn't Alan Nuguette. In the fight that marked the Brazilian's return to the octagon after almost two years, the Brazilian ended up dominated by the experienced Bobby Green and losing by points in the UFC Las Vegas 10, held this Saturday (12), in the United States. While the Amazonian hasn't performed in almost two years, Green, this weekend, made his third appearance in 2020. The triumph over the Brazilian confirmed the good form of the North American, who won all the fights he fought this year.

The fight

Nuguette started the fight trying for a takedown in the opening seconds, but ended up falling on the bottom, in a disadvantageous position. Green took advantage of the moment and started attacking the Brazilian from top to bottom. Alan managed to get up, but continued to focus on grappling. Halfway through the round, Bobby surprised the Amazonian and managed a good takedown, maintaining the advantage in the duel. Nuguette got up again and started pressing the American against the bars. Green managed another takedown and attacked his rival's arm, trying for a submission, but lost the grip. In the final seconds, the athletes got up, but there was no more time.

In the second round, Alan took the initiative again and tried to catch the North American, who was attentive and defended well. Green took down the Brazilian again and found himself in an advantageous position. Bobby continued to dominate the Amazonian, who was already showing signs of tiredness. Even though he lost the duel, Alan showed a lot of willpower and got back to his feet. The Brazilian connected with a direct shot to Green's face, who slowed down. At the end of the round, a low kick from the North American knocked the Amazonian off balance, but the Brazilian recovered quickly until the bell sounded.

Right at the beginning of the last round, Bobby managed to take down the Brazilian and soon managed to pass his guard. At a disadvantage, Nuguette tried to defend himself and looked for a way to get out of position. The Amazon native managed to stay on his feet and the confrontation was once again played in the center of the octagon. The Brazilian risked punches, but the attacks went by in vain. Green managed the match and maintained his rhythm. Near the end of the duel, Nuguette managed to take down the American, but Bobby quickly got up and, in response, connected a good sequence of punches on Alan. In the final seconds, Green lowered his guard and attacked the Brazilian with clean blows to the face. Alan was very tired, but managed to reach the end.
