Tragedy in MMA. Mixed martial arts fighter Isac Nylton, 26, was shot dead outside his home. The crime took place in the Dirceu II neighborhood, in the Southeast Zone of Teresina (PI). The information was released by 'ge'.

According to the Department of Homicide and Personal Protection (DHPP), an agency of the Civil Police of Piauí, the fighter had left to leave a friend at home. However, upon returning to his residence, Isac was approached by two men, who shot the young man with .40 and .38 caliber bullets, as assessed at the scene.

According to delegate Francisco Costa, responsible for the case, it is still unknown what may have motivated the crime. The case therefore remains under police investigation.

In his MMA career, Nylton performed at local events, winning at every opportunity. In his last fight, in 2015, the young man, then 21 years old, surprised his opponent, Jonas Meneses Pereira, with a knockout in the second round. The fight represented one of the fights of 'Realiza Combat'.
