UFC legend Randy Couture suffers ATV accident and undergoes surgery

UFC legend, Randy Couture once again scared his fans. The former champion of the organization suffered an accident, together with his girlfriend, near his farm in the United States, while taking a quad bike ride. The information was released by 'TMZ Sports'.

According to 'TMZ', Couture and his companion were taking a walk on a private road in Arizona when the accident happened. The former fighter had to undergo a surgical procedure after suffering shoulder and rib injuries. His girlfriend, in turn, suffered minor injuries.

New scare

This is the second time in less than a year that Randy has scared his fans. In October last year, the UFC Hall of Fame member made news when he was Suffered from a heart attack while training at his gym.

At the time, Couture drove himself to the hospital and underwent surgery to correct a blood blockage.

Currently, Randy is 57 years old. The American has been retired from MMA since April 2011, when he suffered the iconic knockout to Lyoto Machida.

In 14 years as a professional in mixed martial arts, Couture competed in 30 fights, winning 19 and losing 11. In his list of achievements, the fighter boasts the UFC light heavyweight and heavyweight champion belts.
