Dana's pessimism is supported by the fact that Nick has already attempted a comeback on other occasions. Confirmation, however, never arrived and the athlete's fans continue to want to see the fighter in action again.

“There are conversations, but they have been going on for years,” he concluded.

Former welterweight title challenger, Nick has not performed since his confrontation against Anderson Silva, in January 2015. At the time, the athlete was initially defeated by points by the Brazilian, but the decision ended up being changed to 'no result', as both failed their anti-doping tests.

Today, Diaz is 37 years old and has a record of 26 wins, nine losses and two duels without result.
