After confirming what should be the last fight of his career for October 31st, the legendary Anderson Silva continues to pursue a super fight. At 45 years old, 'Spider' spoke again about his desire to test himself against Conor McGregor. In an interview with 'ESPN', the Brazilian justified his desire to exchange forces against 'Notório'.

“There are two strikers and, I think, for me, it will be a challenge to all the martial arts techniques that I have trained my whole life. Conor is very athletic, technical, a good striker. In my mind, everyone who faces Conor doesn't understand that he is the best in the sport and tries to do something better, but it doesn't happen, because he is too much of a sport. Conor has a different precision inside the octagon, especially when he faces 'switchers' (fighting on his feet”, said 'Spider'.

A few months ago, Anderson made public his desire to face the Irishman. Through his social networks, the Brazilian made the challenge and, to the surprise of many, ended up receiving a positive response from McGregor. UFC president Dana White, however, didn't like the idea and rejected the proposal immediately.

Recently, the 'boss' of Ultimate stated that the time for superfights for Anderson has passed. The representative, however, understands that the fight against Uriah Hall, confirmed for October 31st, is a great opportunity for the Brazilian to say goodbye to the sport in a dignified manner and against a quality opponent.
