Football clubs have really entered the MMA market. After Anderson Silva, José Aldo, Rodrigo Minotauro, Ron Jason e Paulo thiago, this time it was Gerônimo Mondragon who agreed with Paysandu, a club from Pará that competes in the third division of Brazilian football.
This Monday (17), the club's president, Luiz Omar Pinheiro, announced the signing and has already set the date for Mondragon's debut wearing the “Papão” shirt. He stares Gabriel Napao at UFC Rio 3, on October 13th, in the capital of Rio de Janeiro. The duel also marks Gerônimo's debut in the largest MMA organization in the world.
