The UFC is without a shadow of a doubt a successful brand. The largest MMA organization in the world, which has grown impressively in recent years, still wants more. According to the event's president, Dana White, Ultimate intends to shock the world in the coming years.
“We are going to shock the world again in the next two years. When we see another organization appear, they copy everything we do”, said White, who then added. “We are going to change how everything works in the next two years. Everything is going to change”, added the president in an interview with the website MMA Junkie.
“What is happening now, I said 10 years ago. People thought I was crazy. Everything we are doing now, I was talking about 10 years ago. I'm saying today, wait and see what we're going to do in the next five years”, concluded the director.
Created by Brazilian Rorion Gracie in 1993, the UFC was sold to ZUFFA, a company chaired by Dana White, for US$2 million in January 2001. Currently, the event is valued at more than US$1 billion
