At 43 years old and with 70 fights as a professional in MMA, alexey oleynik don't want to know about a long fight in your confrontation against Derrick Lewis. In the last presentation of the UFC Las Vegas 6, which takes place this Saturday (8), in the United States, the Russian hopes that he will be able to end the dispute without the decision going to the judges for analysis. In an interview with 'BJPenn.com', the veteran spoke about the subject.

“I don’t like five rounds. Five rounds for a heavyweight (up to 120,2kg) is very difficult. I hope it ends sooner. I hope to be ready to fight on the feet and on the ground, I will be ready for anything”, said Alexey.
Although the expectation is for the duel to end before the last round, the experienced Russian says he is ready for any situation he faces against Derrick.
“I just want to win, it doesn’t matter if it’s by submission or anything else. This is my goal. It could be submission, knockout, decision, it doesn’t matter,” she explained.
Aware that he will face an elite athlete in the category, Alexey knows that a victory over Lewis, who is currently in fourth place in the group, would place him in a prominent place in the division. With this in mind, the Russian makes a point of praising his rival and valuing the meeting.
"Derrick Lewis He's a big guy and has a big name. He's very well ranked, he's a good guy and it's a good fight for me. I want cool names, that's my goal, I don't need easy fights or easy opponents. I always ask for big names”, he concluded.
Oleynik debuted in MMA in November 1996. Throughout his career, the Russian competed in 73 fights, winning 59, losing 13 and with one draw. The Russian comes from a victory over Fabricio Werdum in the clash that marked the former heavyweight champion's return to the Octagon after more than two years away.
