The light heavyweight Glover Teixeira was scheduled to do in front of Quinton Rampage Jackson the biggest fight of his career, but with the North American athlete's injury, the Brazilian was left without an opponent to face in the event scheduled to take place on October 13th, at the HSBC Arena, in the capital of Rio de Janeiro.

As the only athlete who agreed to face Glover was his compatriot Fábio Maldonado, who publicly asked for the duel, the organization confirmed the confrontation this Thursday (13).
