Dana White thinks about Anderson Silva vs. Jon Jones after the Brazilian's fight with St. Pierre

The possible super fight between Anderson Silva, UFC middleweight champion, and Georges St Pierre, owner of the welterweight belt, was widely speculated by coaches, managers, managers and even athletes. But as the Canadian fighter has cooled down the possibility of a confrontation, this Monday, UFC president, Dana White, is already thinking about another big challenge for the Brazilian.

In an interview with the Inside MMA program, shown on FUEL TV, in the United States, the manager stated that Anderson has reached the peak of his career, without finding opponents in his category at the time and he needs big duels. White even stated that if the Brazilian beats GSP in 2013, even Jon Jones, light heavyweight champion, would be a possible opponent for Spider.

“When a fighter gets to where Anderson is, defeating all his opponents and breaking all the records in UFC history, he needs a big challenge,” said White. “If he beats Georges St-Pierre, in a possible super fight, I guarantee you he will aim Jon Jones right away".

Dana also revealed that despite Jones and Anderson saying they are friends and not wanting to fight, the fight between the two champions could even be confirmed in 2013.

“Anderson and Jones are saying 'hey, we're friends', or 'we don't want to fight', but Jones didn't want to fight Rashad either and the fight happened”, concluded the president.
