“I'm going to do this one with Minotouro and then one or two more fights. I renewed my contract with the UFC before, four more fights, but I don't know for sure if I'll do two or three. I think I was at the peak of my career for a long time. If I have two or three more fights, I will feel fulfilled when I retire”, explained the Curitiba native in an interview with 'ESPN'.

Last November, in an interview with SUPER FIGHTS, before its presentation at the UFC Sao Paulo, the Brazilian even said that retirement was a topic that required a lot of reflection. Eight months after the last commitment, Maurício's thoughts seem not to have changed about a possible early decision.

“I could stop sooner, but I know I might regret it in the near future. I know that in two or three fights I will be fulfilled in my career”, said the Curitiba native.
