the american Frankie Edgar announced his move to the featherweight division last week, following his rematch defeat to Ben henderson, in the lightweight belt fight, at UFC 150. But the former lightweight champion has already announced that he can fight in both categories simultaneously, seeking new challenges in the organization every day.

“I think big fights definitely interest me in any weight class, maybe in the future who knows where else I could go, but it's something I want to try for now,” said Edgar, who reveals that his inspiration to fight in two divisions is the compatriot Dan Henderson, who moves at a high level between the middleweight and light heavyweight divisions.

“It’s just another step in my career. I'm just trying to do the best I think, I'm not stuck anywhere. There are guys like Dan Henderson who fight at middleweight sometimes, and sometimes at light heavyweight, if I could be that kind of guy, that would also be interesting for me”, he concluded.
