Dana White (photo) wants fight between Cyborg and Ronda as UFC headliner
Dana White has said in several interviews over the years that she was against women's MMA, but the UFC president appears to have changed his mind. The reason would be the beautiful Ronda Rousey, who in great performances in Strikeforce enchanted White.
In a radio interview X107.5, from the United States, Dana is already considering a fight between Ronda and the Brazilian Chris Cyborg as the main fight of an edition of the UFC.
“I was in San Diego in the fight between Ronda Rousey and Sarah Kaufmann (remember here), and Rousey is unbelievable. I see it as possible, one day, a fight between Ronda Rousey e Chris Cyborg as the main event of a UFC”, said White, who, despite stating that there are not many women in the sport, was full of praise for the former judoka.
“I still think there aren't enough good women to create a women's MMA division in the UFC, but I'm impressed with Ronda Rousey. All the challengers know exactly what she's going to do, and yet they can't help it. She is a phenomenon in women’s MMA”, added the fighter.
