Irreverent as usual, Max Holloway made an unusual statement regarding his preparation for the UFC 251, which takes place this Saturday (11), in Abu Dhabi. The Hawaiian revealed that he prepared through video calls and that he did not use training partners for the rematch against Alexander Volkanovsky for the featherweight belt (up to 65,7kg.). In a press conference for 'Media-Day', with the participation of SUPER FIGHTS, the athlete explained the situation.

“I wasn't in the gym for this fight. We did the training via 'Zoom' (video calling application). My coach would create a room, I would go in, he would give me a workout and I would do it. He is teaching classes via Zoom because our gym is closed and has started doing online training. I had schedules to keep”, reported the Hawaiian.
