Sonnen changes his speech and praises Anderson Silva: “He’s done enough, he might even stop”

After losing to Anderson Silva at UFC 148, in July, Chael Sonnen changed category and will make his debut as a light heavyweight (remember here). However, it seems it wasn't just the category that changed the loud-mouthed North American.

Known for several provocations against Anderson Silva, some even attacking Spider's family, Sonnen adopted a new speech and is full of praise for his old rival.

A guest on the UFC Tonight program, shown last night (14), in the United States, Chael stated that Anderson has already done a lot for the sport, won a lot of victories and should retire.

“I think he should retire. He did enough, achieved a lot. You're in a very interesting place when you're the champion and you've done a lot of things that other athletes try to do. Right now, his goal is simply money, the biggest fight with the biggest name, and possibly it will be Georges St-Pierre,” said Sonnen, who revealed that only the Canadian Georges St Pierre He would be an opponent on the same level as the Brazilian.

“If there is a guy who can choose who to fight, when to fight and where to fight, it is Anderson Silva. The guy has really done it all. I would like to see him face Georges St-Pierre. Anderson is in the driver’s seat”, concluded Sonnen
